British TV presenter, journalist and writer Dawn O'Porter has signed a six-figure deal with HarperCollins to release two adult novels, with the first due in summer 2016.

O'Porter released her debut young adult novel Paper Aeroplanes with Hot Key Books in 2013, and was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize. She commented 'I remember when I first moved to London nearly 15 years ago and I stood staring at the doors of HarperCollins thinking "one day I'll be in there". Well I got there eventually and couldn't be more thrilled. I'm so ready to venture into adult fiction and it's so encouraging to have the support of such a brilliant publishing house behind me'.
